Chickette the brand is no longer vegan, but Yorgo’s uses Gardein in their vegan chicken salad. They (and a lot of places) are keeping the “chickette” name on menu items because it’s just easier. But the Yorgo’s vegan chicken salad is definitely still vegan! And delicious…

It is very crave-able! Went there today for lunch and had Vegan BBQ with Vegan Cole Slaw and it was yummy!

I do like the site a lot. I have been struggling since I have moved here and with so many restaurants not having websites, it makes research quite hard!

We went to Yorgo’s for the first time this past Saturday and I was AMAZED at the vegan offerings. I had the vegan chicken salad on a bagel and it was delicious. I had been especially craving vegan chicken salad as I have been unable to find it since the sad closing of Harvey T’s.

After I posted this I realized they had the sausage egg and cheeze on the menu. I’ll update the post.

And I’m freaking out about the jalapeno cheddar wraps. It’s the little things…

Hi! I am the vegan baker at Yorgo’s and I have three things to add:

One, the Cheddar Jalapeno wraps ARE vegan. It is some weird artifical cheese flavoring thing and these wraps contain no dairy, I have read over the box thoroughly, I assure you.

Two, the Vegan Sausage, tofu Egg and Cheeze and Vegan Bacon, tofu Egg and Cheeze wraps/sandwiches are available at all times, unless we happen to have a run on them with no more prepped, which was a problem at first, but hardly ever happens these days.

Three, we cater. Pretty much anything that we have on the menu and a million other things that we don’t. If you want it, we’ll make it. This goes for all of our baked goods as well, I do sheet cakes and cupcakes and whole pies, etc.

I love that you love us and we’ll keep churning it out for as long as you’ll shovel it in!
